Flower farm in the Colorado mountains
We grow poppies, dahlias, sunflowers, stock, scabiousa, snapdragons, sweet peas, poenies, anemones, and ranunculus. And we deliever in our '56 Dodge, painted to match some of our favorite flowers.
Gardening at 7,000+ feet
Growing flowers in the mountains takes a special kind of resilience. It's not uncommon for the last snow of 'winter' to come in June and the first snow of the next season to hit in early September -- summertime is a sprint! But it's our passion and we love the challenge. We start our season under lights and have to gamble on when we move outside. The wind generally results in slightly shorter stems, but the cold weather can intensify colors, making them deep and rich. Our unique climate can also help establish robust, healthy dahlia tubers.
